Sawyer's never stayed in the same place for very long, nor has he ever been motivated towards something constructive for more than a couple of years running, so the idea of devoting oneself to the study of a creature for a decade goes plumb over his head. He arches a brow at the guy, tempted to ask if it was worth it. Then again, looking back on his own life, he can't say that his drifting lifestyle was any better. The three years he spent anchored to one spot might have been the best he ever knew.
Of course, having it ripped away suddenly still made him wonder if it was ever meant for him.
"Means that you might be rough on finding a job?" Sawyer asks, not waiting for an answer before he leans back and takes another sip out of his glass. "But a name don't tell me too much about them, other than the fact that it sounds like it's Japanese or something. Real life counterpart to Godzilla?"
