She seems happier now to Sawyer's eyes as he watches, in the lazy way he usually does most people, taking note of as much as he can without making it too obvious that he looks out for most everyone's welfare, these days. People are important. Keeping the safety of the group, even more, because the worst thing to do is to turn people against one another, and the only way to remain cohesive is trust. Of course, nothing so great is at stake when Sawyer is with Juliet, or at least he doesn't feel it if there is, finding instead an ease and comfort that has him exhaling and looking down at the page she's turned to with a laugh under his breath.
"What makes you think there are ladies involved?" he asks jokingly, despite a real curiosity over whether or not he still seems like the type to go about loving and leaving. At least Lexie hasn't gotten that impression, it seems. "And wait, decoupawha? I ain't ever taken French, Blondie, closest I've gotten is stayin' in Cajun neighborhoods down in Louisiana."
