"There's the Winchester and the bakers in this kitchen who can take care of the quality of anyone's food," Sawyer points out with a wide smile, completely earnest. After all, he's taken advantage of the pies that are often left on the counter of the kitchen more often than not, and the Hub's close enough for any light snacking he might want to do, while the Winchester's well out of the way of the people who linger around the Compound every evening. It's a good set-up, as far as he's concerned. "And if I really wanna show someone I care, I bake 'em a dozen cookies."
He turns back to the book, almost moving to open it again, before he tosses it slightly to the side, where it lands well within Juliet's reach, if she wants to peek. "Got any friends with kids who might want rockin' horses? Seems like woodworkin' is mostly meant for toys, or so this author thinks. Apparently, his kid's never gotten a splinter stuck in her ass."
