"You know where to find me," Lily teased, although she wasn't entirely joking. She was relaxed as well, warm in his hut, under the blanket he was pulling over them and she pressed against his side, still enjoying the touch of his skin against hers. It still felt like little sparks were going off under her skin, pins and needles spreading through her fingertips and toes that faded as her breathing slowed and returned to normal.
And he seemed distracted, which had been the original purpose of everything. It wasn't the only reason she'd turned to him and told him to kiss her, far from it, but it had been the line that had led into it and she certainly didn't regret offering. There had been a few reservations at first, but that had been weeks ago now. There was no sense pretending that they hadn't all slipped away, one by one, until Lily knew she wanted him and knew there was no good reason not to let him know.
