She ruffled his hair again, going back into the fridge to gather her own snacks, figuring she might as well as get something to eat, not really knowing how much time she'd end up spending with this kid, making sure he stayed out of trouble and away from the island's less reputable denizens. Not that anyone here was truly... that bad, at least not that she'd uncovered. Still, day like this, no sense taking chances, right?
